Basseterre, St. Kitts – On Thursday, September 18, 2024, Assistant Water Engineer Mikhail Isaac and Inspector of Pumps Ian Francis returned to Freedom FM’s SKN Today to update the general public on the week-long trial of extended water service that the St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) initiated on September 10.
The trial successfully provided water service from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the following areas:
- Shadwell West
- Shadwell East
- Shadwell
- Pine Gardens
- Buckleys (Housing, Park, and Extension)
- Wades Garden
- College Housing
- Taylors
The WSD continues to supply water to these areas between 4 a.m. and 9 a.m. as it monitors the conditions which may support extended supply hours.
