Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – In March of 2025, the St. Kitts Water Services Department collaborated with local influencer Modelcop Shaq to circulate the message of water conservation. To advance its social media campaign, the WSD intends to continue utilizing popular local figures.
On Thursday, April 10, Modelcop Shaq stunned social media with live footage of an apparent water row at Ogees. The 2-minute video garnered over 14 thousand views and 62 comments within 3 hours of posting.
The video is a snippet of an upcoming project on the importance of water conservation. The Department hopes that by using popular figures to tell interesting and relatable stories about water conservation, its message will reach a wider audience and create more water-conscious consumers.
