Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) wishes to inform the public of its team’s activities scheduled for Wednesday, May 7, 2025.
The team will repair pipes at Malone Avenue in Basseterre, St. Peters, Boyds, Half Way Tree, and Newton Ground and modify connections to the pipeline in Saddlers. The team will also clear the intakes in Stone Fort and Franklands.
Customers in these locations may observe reduced water pressure or temporary service interruptions in water service while work is ongoing.
The WSD has issued an official service interruption notice for Sea View Point, Saddlers, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday.
As part of its routine tasks, the team will also pump water to the South East Peninsula to ensure water levels remain sufficient to provide uninterrupted service to that area.
The WSD sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience that may result and asks customers to report all anomalies in water service via its hotline at 662-4307 to enable its team to log the issues and address them swiftly.
