Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – On Monday, October 13, 2025, the Public Works Department’s (PWD) Roads team is actively addressing urgent infrastructure concerns following the impact of Tropical Storm Jerry. Repair and maintenance work will be taking place in the following areas:
- Irishtown Bay Road – Emergency maintenance is underway to repair storm-related damage.
- Roundabout near Beacon Heights – Dirt and debris are being cleared to restore safe traffic flow.
- St. Peters (John England Village) – A damaged drain is being redesigned to prevent future flooding.
- Frigate Bay – Material from recent concrete works are being relocated.
All road users are kindly asked to exercise caution when traveling through these areas.
