Minister Maynard Tops ZIZ’s Major News Headlines with Critical Update on the Basseterre Desalination Plant

Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – On Friday, October 17, 2025, nationals of St. Kitts and Nevis received a critical update on the progress of the Basseterre Desalination Plant in a ZIZ News exclusive interview with the Minster of Public Infrastructure, Energy & Utilities, and Domestic Transport; Information, Communication, Technology and Posts, Hon. Konris Maynard, Water Manager and Engineer, Cromwell Williams, and General Manager of Royal Utilities Ltd., Gerry Moise.

Minister Maynard’s headliner followed the top story in which he also appeared as Member of Parliament for St. Christopher 3 at a ceremony organized by the Ministry of Sustainable Development relative to its Land Acquisition Normalization Distribution (L.A.N.D) initiative.
