Notice of Trenching for the Basseterre Desalination Plant Pipeline

Date:

On Monday, March 24, 2025, the Water Services Department will begin trenching for the Basseterre Desalination Plant Pipeline from the verge of the Bird Rock Basketball Court along the road adjacent to the main entrance of the Kim Collins Stadium. The installation of the pipeline will begin promptly thereafter. The project will continue into May 2025

The project entails cutting roads, driveways, and walkways within the area’s utilities section. Once we complete the installation of the pipes, we will coordinate with the relevant agents to resurface the roads, driveways, and walkways promptly.

Please call the Water Services Department at 467-1005 for additional information.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. We thank you for your patience and understanding as we aim to improve water service delivery.

Water security starts with you. Every drop saved helps protect our nation's water supply. Join the campaign and discover simple ways to conserve water, reduce waste, and help build a more resilient St. Kitts—because every action matters, and every drop counts.
