Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The Public Works Department is issuing a call to heavy equipment operators and transporters of construction material to exercise care and responsibility when using public roads.
The call follows recent observations highlighting repeated instances of damage to public roads caused by heavy machinery and spillage of sand, gravel and soil, and is strengthened by the Roads Act, Cap. 15.05, specifically Sections 22 and 23.
The PWD encourages the public to report road damage or obstructions by calling (869) 467-1122 or visiting our Customer Service Portal.
