Basseterre, Saint Kitts (Public Infrastructure News) – At noon on Wednesday, October 21, 2026, Ian Francis, Inspector of Pumps at the Water Services Department (WSD), informed Public Infrastructure News that water service had been restored to Dewars, Beacon Heights and Upper Shadwell following investigations into Tuesday’s water service interruption and an update on further interruptions issued earlier on Wednesday.
With the matter now resolved, officials have expressed gratitude to the public for its patience and commended WSD staff for their response.
Officials are reminding anyone across St. Kitts experiencing water service issues to continue using the available channels to contact the department.
