Water Service Restored from Verchilds to New Guinea

Basseterre, St. Kitts (Public Infrastructure NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) is pleased to inform the general public that water service has been restored from Verchilds to New Guinea following a service interruption earlier on Thursday, October 8, 2026, to facilitate repairs to the main line.

On Thursday morning, WSD officials estimated that water service would be restored by 1 p.m. At approximately 1:05 p.m., Public Infrastructure News received confirmation from a WSD officer that service had been restored, in keeping with the estimated timeframe.

The Department sincerely thanks all affected customers for their patience, understanding and cooperation.

The WSD encourages the public to report any issues with water service via the water services hotline at (869) 465-8000, (869) 662-4307 or 141, or by completing our WaterWatch SKN form available online at mopieudt.gov.kn/waterwatch.
