Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – On Sunday, November 9, 2025, the St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) advised its customers via its Facebook page, that service was interrupted in Olivees, Shadwell (East & West), Pine Gardens, Buckleys (Housing Development, Park, and Extension), Wades Garden, College Housing, Taylors and Bladen, Beacon Heights, and Dewars because of mechanical issues at the pumping station.
Teams worked assiduously to resolve all issues impacting service. By 8 a.m. on Monday, November 10, 2025, service was restored to all areas except Beacon Heights. Service to the area is projected to be restored to by 5 a.m. on Wednesday, November 12, 2025.
The WSD sincerely apologizes for any inconvenience caused and thanks all affected customers for their patience.
