Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – On Tuesday, June 17, 2025, the Water Services Department (WSD) engaged in multiple activities around the island aimed at maintaining and improving water infrastructure and service reliability.
The team cleaned water tanks in Middle Island and Gundo to ensure adherence to quality standards for consumers.
It repaired pipes at the Basseterre High School, Freemans Village, Soho, Prickley Pear Avenue, the Garden’s Housing Project, Shadwell, Sandy Point, and St. Pauls. It also continued to work on the pipeline at the Basseterre Desalination Plant.
As the WSD continues to respond to urgent issues, perform routine maintenance, and upgrade the existing infrastructure, its leadership reminds customers that they may assist the department by reporting all service issues to an agent via its hotline at 662-4307.
