Water Service Restored in Cayon

Basseterre, St. Kitts (Public Infrastructure NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) is pleased to inform the general public that water service has been restored to the lower sections of Cayon previously affected by power and water service interruptions on August 19, 2026.

With electricity now restored, the water pump regulating distribution to the area is back online.

As of 9:40 a.m. on Thursday, August 20, 2026, WSD officials reported that the water tank was 75% full and indicated that water service to the higher sections of Cayon should be restored shortly.

The Department sincerely thanks all affected customers for their patience, understanding and cooperation.
