Ministry of Public Infrastructure et al. Expresses Appreciation to Hard-working Staff

Basseterre, St. Kitts – On Thursday 30th January, 2025, the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Energy & Utilities and Domestic Transport hosted a Staff Appreciation Fair in recognition of the hard work and dedication of its employees. The fair afforded staff the opportunity to take a well deserved break and engage in fun games and activities together.

The day began with a brief ceremony to commend staff for their excellent work and encourage them to continue putting their best foot forward. Highlights of the ceremony included:

  • Motivational Speech by Mr. Curtis Martin, Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health
  • Minister’s Remarks, Hon. Konris Maynard, Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Energy & Utilities and Domestic Transport
  • Award ceremony recognizing outstanding staff members.


Following the ceremony, staff participated in friendly and competitive football and cricket matches, with prizes awarded to the winning teams. The day also featured a variety of other fun games and activities, including dominoes, cards, Ludo and mini basketball. Several lucky employees benefited from giveaways throughout the day.


The Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Energy & Utilities, and Domestic Transport extends its heartfelt thanks to all employees for their unwavering commitment and dedication to serving the people of Saint Kitts and Nevis.
