Activities

In July 2024, the roads team deployed to Pump Bay, Sandy Point, to build a retaining wall. The project involves multiple activities and most of them have already been completed.

As the project advances to its final stages, the Public Works Department informs the general public that its team will continue its work throughout the week.  According to a work schedule shared by the Roads Team in July, team members are expected to continue laying blocks on August 7, and to engage in backfilling and cleanup activities on August 8 – 9.

The general public is asked to exercise caution when travelling through this area as work continues.
