PWD Road Tracker: June 23, 2025

Date:

Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – On Monday, June 23, 2025, the Roads Division of the Public Works Department (PWD) will carry out infrastructure maintenance in several communities on the island.

In Half Moon, one concrete crew will cast the driveway for the road that was impacted by recent flooding. Another concrete crew will be at Trinity constructing a retaining wall to stabilize the area that was washed out by flood. The asphalt crew will undertake patching in multiple areas including, the F.T. Williams Highway, New Road and Newtown in the vicinity of the Tucker Clarke Primary School.

Road users are advised to expect temporary traffic disruptions and possible detours while work is in progress. The PWD kindly asks all motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution and adhere to all posted signage.

The Public Works Department is grateful for your patience and cooperation as we work to maintain and improve the island’s infrastructure.
