Date:

Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) remains actively engaged in maintaining the island’s water infrastructure.

On Saturday, June 21, 2025, the team conducted repairs to the road leading to the Ogees tank. Today, Monday, June 23, 2025, the team will continue essential repair and maintenance operations in multiple locations.

The team will repair pipelines at the Southeast Peninsula, Limekiln, Old Road, Sandy Point, Fig Tree and St. Paul’s. The team will also perform cleaning at the Franklands and Stone Fort intakes and the 1-48 pump yard. Additionally, the team will resume running the Bird Rock desalination line.

Please be advised that some areas may experience temporary water service interruptions throughout the day. The WSD thanks the general public for their patience and understanding as we work to ensure a reliable water supply across the island.
