Basseterre, Saint Kitts (Public Infrastructure News) – Villages across Saint Kitts are continuing to benefit from targeted road improvement projects undertaken by the Roads and Drains Division of the Public Works Department (PWD), with work now underway in two communities.
New Road is among the latest communities to benefit from the PWD’s road maintenance and rehabilitation efforts, with the team laying asphalt this week in the area.
The community of Half Moon is also benefitting from the department’s road repair work, with team members now focused on casting concrete slabs that will provide a new surface to better accommodate vehicular traffic moving through the area.

PWD officials continue to advise motorists and pedestrians to exercise caution when travelling through these and other sites where its staff are engaged in roadwork.
