The Ministry of Public Infrastructure Marks a Week of Faith, Fellowship, and Festivity

Date:

Basseterre, St. Kitts (Public Infrastructure News) – A week marked by two important ministerial activities was capped on Thursday, January 29, 2026, as staff of the Ministry of Public Infrastructure, Energy and Utilities descended on the grounds of the National Caribbean Insurance Company (NCI) at Needsmust, for the annual Staff Appreciation Fair and Fun Day.

The full day of festivities brought workers together from the Secretariat, the Public Works Department, the Energy Unit, and the Water Services Department in an environment of camaraderie and competition. Staff also received health checks—including blood pressure, glucose, and BMI—from medical students at Windsor University, as well as information on financial services from the St. Kitts–Nevis–Anguilla National Bank.

Thursday’s Staff Appreciation Fair was one of two highlights of the week. On Tuesday, January 27, staff converged on the People’s Evangelistic Centre for a private church service and fellowship with the Ministry of Information, Communication, Technology and Post, which is also under the leadership of the Hon. Konris Maynard.

With both events concluded, the staff of Ministry of Public Infrastructure can set their sights squarely on the Ministry’s goals for 2026, rejuvenated and inspired by festivities and fellowship, as they work to achieve greater success than the year before.
