Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – Pedestrians navigating Basseterre on Friday, March 14, 2025, had their journeys pleasantly interrupted by social media influencer ‘Modelcop Shaq’ as part of the St. Kitts Water Services Department’s campaign.
To accommodate the collaboration with the Water Services Department, Shaq tailored his regular series, In the City with Modelcop. He asked random individuals questions to test how much they actually knew about basic water facts.
This special episode was geared toward encouraging participants and viewers to develop and practice water conservation habits. At the end of their interviews, Shaq skillfully made each interviewee a water conservation ambassador by asking each participant to advise viewers on the various ways they can save water.
The collaboration between Modelcop Shaq and the St. Kitts Water Services Department was an effective tool to promote collaboration between the WSD and the general public around water-related issues such as water conservation.
