Recent Achievements

Commissioned New Quarry Equipment

In March 2025, the project to commission new quarry equipment marked a significant advancement in enhancing operational efficiency. This new equipment promises to streamline extraction processes, improve safety standards, and bolster productivity. The investment reflects a commitment to modernizing infrastructure to meet increasing demands while adhering to environmental considerations.

Kim Collins Track

The Kim Collins Track has reached full completion, providing an exceptional facility for athletes and sports enthusiasts. With its state-of-the-art design, the track is a tribute to the legendary athlete and aims to foster a culture of excellence in athletics. The completion has opened new avenues for hosting regional competitions and encouraging community participation in sports.

Kim Collins Stadium

Currently, the Kim Collins Stadium is at 90% completion, with final touches underway to deliver a top-tier venue for various sporting events. The stadium is designed to accommodate a large audience, featuring modern amenities and optimal viewing experiences. Once finished, it is set to become a hub for local and international sports, significantly enhancing the community's engagement with athletics.

Conaree Football Pavillion

The Conaree Football Pavilion is 99% complete. This pavilion is designed to serve as a central meeting point for players, coaches, and spectators, fostering community spirit and support for local teams. Its modern facilities will enhance the overall matchday experience and provide ample resources for training and events, reinforcing the importance of football in the community.

Construction of the MRI Building at the JNF General Hospital

The MRI building is progressing well, currently at 75% completion. This facility will offer advanced medical imaging services, significantly improving healthcare access and quality in the area. Incorporating cutting-edge technology and patient-focused design will enhance diagnostic capabilities, ultimately meeting the community's health needs better.

Other Highlights

Construction of the Traffic Department Building

With a 98% completion status, the new Traffic Department building is nearly ready for operation. This building will house essential traffic management services, providing improved functionality and efficiency in handling administrative tasks, public inquiries, and enforcement operations. It reflects a wider commitment to collaborating on public safety and streamlining vehicle regulation processes.

New Horizons Renovation Works

The New Horizons renovation works are underway to revitalize essential spaces and improve aesthetics and functionality.

Construction of the Joshua Obadiah Williams Primary School

Construction of the new Joshua Obadiah Primary School is in progress, with an anticipated completion date in 2026. This innovative educational facility aims to provide modern learning environments, foster academic achievement, and promote community engagement, paving the way for a brighter educational future.

Construction of Concrete Roads

Shadwell East and West – 75% Complete

Road construction in Shadwell East and West is progressing well, currently at 75% completion. These new concrete roads are set to enhance connectivity and accessibility for residents, significantly improving daily commutes and safety on the road.

Boyd's View – 100% Complete

The concrete road construction in Boyd's View has been fully completed, providing a smooth and durable surface for transportation. This development marks a major milestone, ensuring residents benefit from improved accessibility and mobility.

White House Gardens – 90% Complete

The roadwork at White House Gardens is nearing completion, sitting at 90%. The new concrete infrastructure will provide reliable transport routes, enhancing overall community accessibility and increasing property values in the vicinity.

Rawlin's Extension, St. Paul's – 90% Complete

The concrete roads in Rawlin's Extension, St. Paul's are set to offer a robust transportation solution for residents. The project is key to fostering better community connections and reducing travel times for local commuters.

Racecourse, Newton Ground – 80% Complete

The Racecourse road construction represents a significant stride towards enhancing transport infrastructure in Newton Ground. Once finished, this concrete road will improve access for both residents and visitors, supporting local businesses and community development.

St. Kitts Athletic Basketball Association (SKABA) Rehabilitation Project

This project is at the tendering stage.
