Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – The St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) will continue routine maintenance and repairs across the island on Friday, May 9, 2025.
The team will pump water to the Southeast Peninsula to ensure residents have continuous access. It will also clean the Bird Rock pump, the Morne Peak desalination line, and Franklands intake to improve its service efficiency and maintain the quality of the water supply.
The WSD will repair pipes in Shadwell West and Wingfield Mountain, and facilitate repairs and upgrades to the infrastructure on George Street before the Public Works Department completes its paving.
The WSD wishes to apologize for any service interruptions resulting from these essential activities and asks affected customers to visit mopieudt.gov.kn, water.gov.kn, and its Facebook page for updates.
