WSD Reports Overnight Service Interruption in Stapleton

Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – Service to customers in Stapleton Village was interrupted overnight on Sunday after a Water Services Department (WSD) staffer logged a report of a broken valve at approximately 10:42 p.m. The interruption has impacted the subset of the community between the playfield and Station Road.

The WSD indicated its plans to address the matter on Monday morning (June 16, 2025), and at the time of publishing this article, Landrith Isaac, Assistant Water Engineer at the WSD, confirmed that residents should expect service to return around noon.

The WSD regrets any inconvenience caused by the interruption and asks customers to visit mopieudt.gov.kn, water.gov.kn, and its Facebook page for any updates.

The WSD also encourages customers to report water service issues to its agents via its hotline at 662-4307.
