Basseterre, St. Kitts (MoPIEUDT NEWS) – This week, the St. Kitts Water Services Department (WSD) continued to demonstrate its commitment to supporting customers affected by recent and extended water service interruptions.
To help ensure that residents access safe, clean water, water trucks were deployed to many communities, including Beacon Heights, Dewars, Buckleys, Shadwell, and Taylors, on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday (November 10, 11, and 13).
These deployments form part of the WSD’s ongoing efforts to reduce the impact of service interruptions while technical teams carry out comprehensive diagnostic assessments and repair work on the distribution network.
“We understand how essential reliable water service is, and we want to reassure all residents that minimizing downtime remains our top priority.”
– WSD Manager & Engineer, Cromwell Williams

“We thank the affected communities for their patience and cooperation, and we remain fully committed to restoring full service as quickly as possible.”
— WSD Manager & Engineer, Cromwell Williams
Through immediate support measures—such as the distribution of water trucks—and continuous work on long-term infrastructure improvements, the WSD is doing all it can to keep its customers supported and informed during this period.

Service is expected to be completely restored by 5 a.m. on Saturday, November 15, 2025.
